Welcome to the 2023/2024 Season.
Officials Information
We have gone through a year with only a few new officials who certified from last year. Moving forward, we anticipate needing approximately 20 new officials this year. If you know someone interested in becoming an official, please have them click the button above to be put on the list. The certification process for new officials under 16 is different and I will be directly contacting new officials as to where and when the certification clinic will be. We are looking at some dates in early to mid-September to hold our clinic for first year officials.
Returning Officials
The procedure for certification clinics will be posted on the BC Hockey Clinic’s Website soon. All returning officials must attend one of these clinics which may be online this year. If you are over 16, you can register for level 2 certification. Also, new this year, if you are under the age of 16, have been actively officiating for two years you can register as a level 2 official if you have been given permission by your association’s RIC.
BC Hockey will also be reducing the fees for this year for anyone who paid for a certification clinic last year. Details on this are below from BC Hockey.
You must be certified each year through BC Hockey to officiate with Semiahmoo Ravens Hockey.
