Who We Are

The Semiahmoo Minor Hockey Association (SEMI Hockey) organizes a membership of 1,000 amateur youth hockey players and supporting families from the communities of White Rock and South Surrey, British Columbia, Canada. Formed in 1966, our association enables any child within our community who wishes to learn and improve their skills of hockey the opportunity to do so within a safe and respectful environment.

November 14, 2021 ~ U13 A2 were named the tournament champions of the Gil Martin Memorial Tournament - tier 2.

SEMI Hockey is active within the South Surrey/White Rock community. We have developed relationships with many community stakeholders such as McDonalds, Tim Hortons, Scotiabank, Landmark Properties and the Semiahmoo Athletic Club.

Our programs offer professional skill development sessions provided by first class instructors from SK Hockey Development. These sessions ensure that our young athletes are getting the development they need in order to succeed and and have fun throughout their playing years.

SEMI Hockey offers seasonal (September - March) hockey programs for players age 5 (Kindergarten) - 20. The season runs from early/mid September to just before Spring Break. We operate under the Pacific Coast Amateur Hockey Association and BC Hockey and follow the Hockey Canada long-term athlete development model. SEMI Hockey offers first class instructions from some of the best hockey providers in the Lower Mainland. There are both recreational and competitive streams to provide an opportunity for anyone to play.
