Semiahmoo only certifies new officials under 16 years of age. Our clinic for first year officials will be announced once scheduled and information will be e-mailed to everyone in the association and posted on our website.

Officials who are over 16 and are new to officiating need to contact BC Hockey about the certification process.  Semiahmoo gives priority for people wanting to be officials for players/members of our association 16 and under.

Returning Officials who officiated last year with Semiahmoo

• The location for certification clinics for returning officials will be posted on the BC Hockey’s Website in late August/September.  All returning officials must attend one of these clinics.  If you are over 16, and officiated last year with Semiahmoo,  you can register for level 2 certification. If you are under 16, you must register for level 1 certification.

• You must be certified each year through BC Hockey to officiate with Semiahmoo Ravens Hockey. The link below should answer any questions returning officials have when BC Hockey has updated this section for this season.   Remember certification is the Responsibility of BC Hockey and if you have any questions/concerns, you should contact BC Hockey directly.
